Saturday June 14th will mark an historic day for Chigwell Window Centre, one of the South East’s leading manufacturers and installers of premium home improvement products, when its new 45000 sq ft building at Centurion Business Park in Colchester will officially be opened by Sir Bernard Jenkin MP, Conservative MP for Harwich and North Essex alongside special guest and rising professional heavyweight boxer, Moses Itauma.

Grand Opening Details

At the Grand Opening from 1.00pm onwards visitors and guests will be able to take advantage of a very special 25% Saving OFF all windows and doors in an ‘ON THE DAY’ special promotion.

They’ll also see first hand the new state-of-the-art facility which includes a large showroom, state-of-the-art factory and distribution centre, enjoy a variety of delicious contemporary Indian cuisine, musical entertainment and watch local radio station Actual Radio who will be broadcasting a live three hour programme on the day.

Expansion of Production and Distribution Facilities

For the past ten years Chigwell Window Centre has been based at the Hainault Business Park with its four factories and distribution hub occupying several different sites in the area. This new building brings all the company’s manufacturing and distribution facilities under one roof, doubling capacity, significantly speeding up production and at the same time reducing the company’s carbon foot print.

Dean Floyd, Chigwell Window Centre CEO says: “The speed of our expansion in recent years meant that it was imperative that move to bigger and better premises and bring all elements of the business under one roof. The search began late last year and when we found this brand new business park near Colchester it quickly became clear that the size and location was perfect for us. Directly adjacent to the A120 it will open up new areas in the East of the country for us to target as well cementing our position as one of the leading window and door manufacturers in the South East and beyond.”

Huge Step Forward

The move to Centurion Business Park marks a huge investment of around £4m for Chigwell Window Centre which includes the new premises, which is double the size of CWC’s old home, investment in new equipment and employing more staff to meet the increased manufacturing capacity and enable CWC to service its ever increasing order book.
